This is the girls on the walking trail by our house. They like finding these beetle bugs and either poke at them with a stick or stomp them.

Interesting...

So, this was in the women's bathroom at Eifel-park. It is very interesting sitting on a toilet with no seat. This was the first time seeing these in Germany and we saw a few more on our trip to France.

This is the reason we got pictures taken today. These are Daniel's first professional pictures that we have had taken. We will be going back to J (J's Studio), she did a great job. I was really impressed and I didn't even feel rushed!!! She doesn't print the pictures, but you get the disk with all the pictures on it. There were 83 pictures on the disk, it's nice to be able to pick and choose at home what pictures you want to order.

The girls got new dresses this week and they wanted to wear them for the pictures. So, J (the photographer) got some snapshots of them while we were getting Daniel dressed. The are such little models. Our little princesses!!!

The lastest news update...

It looks like we will have plenty of time to see Europe. They are not curtailing our DEROS (Date Expected Return Overseas) until May 2010, it originally was August 2012. Our report no later than date will be June 15, 2010. This is still by word of mouth, we still have not gotten official word yet. I will keep you all updated. This information is as of yesterday morning. So, it looks like there is still time to plan a trip to Germany!!!

Our most recent visitors!!!!!!!!!

We had a blast while Nichole & Pete were here visiting. We fit a whole lot of excitement into two weeks. Here was our list that we accomplished:

• Eifel Park Gondorf
• Bitburg sightseeing/shopping day
  
• Disneyland Paris
  
• Paris (which included Notre Dame Cathedral, Arche De Triumph, Eiffel Tower, and the Louvre museum)
  
• Koln Zoo
• Trier sightseeing/shopping day
• Cochem castle & Cochem sightseeing/shopping (Just Nichole, Pete and myself)
• Bitburg Brewery

There is just so much to do here in Germany and the surrounding areas. I am going to miss this place when we move. We are going to try get in as much as possible before we go.

Exciting News Again!!!

So you will never guess???
I am finally going to be an auntie on my side of the family!!! My sister (Nichole) & my brother-in-law (Pete) came to visit us from the 11th of June until the 25th. We found out the day before they left the exciting news, she had a doctor's appointment the day after leaving here to confirm the news. So, the kids will finally have a cousin on my side to play with!!! Nichole has a due date of February 26th, which is my twin uncle's 50th birthday. Congratulations again, Nichole & Pete!!!
